We are proud to, once again, participate in KidVenture 2023 and we look forward to meeting future generations of aerospace professionals!

On your trip to EAA AirVenture, bring the kids to Pioneer Airport (across from the EAA AirVenture Museum) so they can learn about how airplane brakes work and get some hands-on experience changing brake pads and assembling brakes.

Our presenters:

Dan Basch is the Cleveland Wheels & Brake engineering manager and has over 20 years of wheel and brake experience, the majority with Cleveland Wheels and Brakes.  His experience includes new product development, certification of wheels, brakes, and hydraulic valves, and system integration of wheels, brakes, and braking systems.

Vern Rodgers is Cleveland Wheel and Brakes’ technical support training manager and has over 30 years of experience with Cleveland Wheels and Brakes.  He provides technical support, IA renewal training, and customer support for Cleveland’s entire product line with his in-depth knowledge and experience.

John Staron is a lead engineer for Cleveland Wheels and Brakes, responsible for supporting a wide variety of active general aviation and military aircraft.  His experience covers wheels and brakes on aircraft such as the F-16, Kodiak Quest, Cirrus SR-20 & 22, multiple Diamond Aircraft models, and several Mooney aircraft.
